1995 Vario No Limit downhill prototype

Unfortunately no updates at the moment as am in the process of packing & moving houseā¦oh and have recently purchased a race / track car that Iām just sorting as wellany progress?
Maybe its just me, but I'm missing still some good pictures or the final bike
Will be back on the build asap I have the rear shock spring in the powder coaters at the moment going back to itās original satin black as it had some unsightly rub marks from a poorly routed cable
The rear shock spring is back from the powder coaters finished in the same original satin black finish.
Wasnāt really planning on refinishing any parts, however due to a poorly routed cable for the rear disc brake it permanently rubbed the rear shock spring and wore through the powder coating along 3/4 of its length, so it had to get refinished to be up to par with the rest of the bike.

Currently moving house at the moment so havenāt really had much time to do much at all on the build, however I have finally got it back on two wheels and it saw the light of day for the first time since purchasing it back in 2021

Sorry for the lack of updatesā¦have moved house recently and am still trying to find stuff
Sourced some NOS TEC (made in Italy) period correct bling to enhance the factory look of the build. This will tie in nicely with the NOS TEC Canti straddle yoke and pedal collars on the NOS Shimano M737 SPDās.
Also sourced a NOS M900 XTR front Canti arm from the US as I wasnāt happy with the condition of the one I had in stock

Things have started to settle down a bit from the recent house move, track / race car fettling and impending new house build so have had a bit of time to get back to the Vario and will hopefully be able to make so steady progress.
Started fitting some of the NOS TEC XTR M900 / M910 specific fixtures.
Still need to source some more TEC / period anodised fixtures and ideally I want to change the original quill stem to a more boutique brand stem (ideally a Ringle Zooka to match Zolaās team bike)ā¦the hunt continues

A little more progress todayā¦
Opened up the NOS TEC cable hanger and offered it up and the colour match on the fork yoke / brace is spot on
Fitted the NOS clear Crud Catcher, but am still in two minds whether to fit a period correct Mavic decal on it to match Dolaās team bike
Also test fitted the XTR seat post and Flite saddle
Also started sorting the decals ready for fitting
