Its dangerous having time on your hands

During mad cider fuelled furlough moments, this was created from a Tequesta that had seen better days.

The previous owner had decided to go down the rusty look and got danson67 to do bits and bobs

Being the neighbour, I ended up with the project after a purchase too far

So here it is, 700c and Mary bars

This is one of my favourite bikes from the last few weeks on here. Maybe because I'm thinking of fitting a 700c front wheel and fork to a 1993 Claud Butler Pagan frame and seeing what happens next...

Was is a strip-off-the-paint and lacquer treatment or something more than that?

Guessing the brake mounting at the rear was through the existing bridge. Any interesting engineering details to be shared?

There's nothing exciting to share, you've got to keep an eye on the brake drop as it requires two different lengths of brake calliper

The frame was stripped, left outside to rust then coated in marine varnish - very tough!
