1991 Lightning Flash Restoration JB0090

Definitely a fine looking stem, fillet brazed and all. What is the story on the maker? I'm not sure I've seen one of those before

The stem is a Nitto that came off a Kuwahara Mondia Competition. Fillet brazed with integrated cable noodle like the Breezer would have been.

Well progress is slow over the summer but things are happening. I’m awaiting a new BB-UN72 68x122 to arrive so I can fir the Ritchey crankset. The fork is cured and mounted. Now patiently searching for Ritchey cantilever brakes and levers. I’ve put the specialized cranks on it to get a feel for what the bike will be like and I can already tell how special it will be.

Cool frame you got there! And a fine build.

Yup got em coming lol
But one question on those Ritchey Logic brakes:
How do you adjust the tension on those?
As far as I know they come without grub screws to set spring tension. Only the WCS version had those.
I might be wrong, though.
I had a set of those brakes but never managed to adjust them properly.
