I had one of these BITD and have just built this up having acquired the frame from Tiboltrider.
Not all period parts but done on a strict budget and using some bits I had lying around.
I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the result.
Thanks to Gil for the decals.
Your feedback is welcome, spec as follows.......

Bar ends
Ergo grips
Acor bar
Raleigh computer!!
Bronze STX cantis
LX shifters
LX rear mech (8speed)
LX crank, granny removed 48-36
STX front mech
Two finger levers
Araya rims with STX RC hubs
Specailzed Hemisphere Armidillo amber wall tyres
Specialized Body Geometry saddle
Decals by Gil
Shimano SPDs

Only finished last night and quick pics taken so apologies for the quality.

:D

Love it... The headlugs are ace. I would stick an older chainset on, or a sugino xd600, but looks really nice as is. And different too.

These dyna techs alway make great looking bikes I think - this one is no exception - and in my favourite colours - good job. :D

What a fantastic frame  what happened to poor raleigh :?: They used to turn out some real quality as seen above, and now :?:
That's another story I suppose
Lovely bike though mate 8)

Look what you've gone and made me do...
