1989 Swallow Griffon - MBUK Test Bike... Finished - Page 12

Re: 1989 Swallow Griffon - MBUK Test Bike... Update P9

Would running a full outer to a seatpost ferrule be an option? Would at least take out the cheese wire problem.

Re: 1989 Swallow Griffon - MBUK Test Bike... Update P9

I spy a seatpost collar acting as a cable guide?

Re:

Christ you've got good eye sight....

on another note what's the chances that gnarly trail is actually a paved road, its certainly not as out back
as they'd have you believe as there's a retaining wall in the foreground

I don't want to take anything away from what Adrians doing nor for that matter the bike itself,
but the more I look at the original article the more you realise there was a lot of smoke and mirrors going on.

Missed you on Sunday at Dowies Adrian !

Don't say things like that, my view of the mountain bike press and the virgin honest reporting of my youth will be tarnished forever. ;)

As you were Adrian....

Alas I rode past on the road with Gloucester CC ... Although it was on a 96 MTB with inch slicks... Which certainly marks me out for all the wrong reasons.

Re:

Thanks for all the suggestions

This is the solution so far, slightly remodeled cable hanger..... gives that extra 1/2" needed :)
