I had a Yellow Turbo Special on it and it looked bad-ass.

Any built up pics? (ah, maybe on your site). Was it a good deal too big for you?

It should fit well but I have never built it up. The farthest I got was some wheels and the saddle and seatpost. I dig the bike, but I have a little more than half a dozen open projects so need to make space if possible.

I don't recall ever slagging you, (why are you vrc guys so sensitive ), regarding a timber comp. I do remember you devaluing an 85 Team Comp, and I wasn't in agreement.

I'm not sensitive, just like a clear record - that bike was this bike. Same ad.

As for hoping the owner knows what he has, many owners do not, as I'm sure you are aware. Sometimes this works to the benefit of the buyer, who is knowledgeable, and sometimes it works against potential buyers who may not be all that knowledgeable- I'm sure you can infer correctly as to what I'm stating.

Understood, but this particular owner took the bike to a knowledgeable NorCal shop, one from back in the day, so I discounted it a little less.

It is blue. You should be able to see it in the pic. A Team not likely have a Ritchey 4130 fork.

So do we agree this is a Timber Comp? or is it a super special order Team Comp?

We can agree that it is overpriced.
