There were always some funny sponsorship /advertising protocols /deals in the Nissan (and in UK races?)Here their regular Tonton Tapis gear is branded Ever Ready .

The Roches are on their Tonton-Tapis Gios Torino team bikes.There was a year or two in Ireland when there was a 'Bray Cycling Week' which I think was set up with the ambition of rivaling the Isle of Man equivalent.I remember competing in the 200k pro am 'classic' road race event during it .My abiding memory is how cresting the top of small hills in towns the speed INSTANTANEOUSLY increased without even a few seconds lag.Much of the rest of it was reasonably civilised but I was dropped in the final miles on a long drag.Quite a few GB domestic scene pros were also in attendance
