This was to be a budget resto, so that a mate has something to ride for L'eroica Britannia. Purchased at a local auction for £10 it needed some help. All done for under £100 (that incorrect rear derailleur is being changed for something more in keeping next weekend) before and after pics.
This was also my first time building wheels, and both are decently true and ride well. It was a very enjoyable project. I know the handlebar tape isn't quite period correct, but if it's being ridden 20 miles I figured comfort was important too. (the same rationale applied to the handlebar tape on the Viking.
