14.5" Raleigh M-Trax 420 - PRICE REDUCTION

Old Ned

Old School Grand Master
On behalf of my late friend's widow I am selling a Raleigh M-Trax 420 which was her bike at one time. It hasn't had a great deal of use and will be basically mechanically sound as he was an ex-bike shop owner.

The frame is labelled as 'Titanium Chromo Composite'. I presume the components are the standard ones as delivered with the possible exception of the Girven Flex-stem. Gear train etc. is Alivio.

I'm not sure how desirable this model M-Trax machine is but I know the M-Trax series enjoys a good following. I'm looking for £125.00 inc. carriage to a UK address only. Payment by cleared cheque or cash - NO Paypal or bank transfers etc. Discount for collection!

EDIT - price reduction bump, now £125 as above.

Still no response. Must admit I'm a little surprised. Is it that it is a totally undesirable bike or is the price wrong?

Answers on a postcard etc...............................

I think it's a combination of the fact it's tiny (but somehow still looks big?), and actually doesn't need enough doing it? maybe offer the alternative of a split. all bits look in very good nick.

Good luck with the sale!

May be interested for my son, but need to check finances  Do you know what the actual seat & top tube measurements are?
Cheers,
Mark

Seat tube is 14.5" c-2-t but not sure about top tube. The bike isn't at my address so I'll be a few days before I can measure it unless there is a size chart/old catalogue etc. somewhere on the internet?
