But you are right, it took years before I was happy leaving the house empty on a saturday afternoon. Seeing the kids stuff strewn about and trod on was the worst.

its such an invasion, although the thieves arent generally targeting specfic people (obviously for the stuff, but not 'lets go rob tom')

but it always is so personal to the victim
