£12k worth of bikes stolen in Oldham

not many details to go on in that news story, could maybe do with more if we are to know what we are supposed to be looking for.

that has got to be gutting though.

He will no doubt be insured.

The big thing about being burgled is the feeling of your home being ransacked, etc., sounds as though that was avoided at least.
 
my insurance went up and my excess went from 100 to 500 the year after I was burgled, having insurance doesn't mean it doesn't cost you.

But you are right, it took years before I was happy leaving the house empty on a saturday afternoon. Seeing the kids stuff strewn about and trod on was the worst.
