I'm not so familiar with the Mk1 Big Un (mine are all Mk2) but it looks like you've got a MK2 QR axle there. I don't think that fits the MK1 hub?

Pop up the frame number please. It'll be able to put a date on the frame and help others.

Except for @kaydee, has anyone else ridden the Rebellion Way? As a local, I know many of the tracks around Norwich, not so much those along the coast road and Kings Lynn areas. https://www.cyclinguk.org/routes/rebellion-way-map-and-gpx-file May well try and tackle it in stages over this Summer...

Can I get the frame number for my records please? Be good to get some more Merlins noted for future reference. They often get destickered.

I think the orange one is newer. It has the additional holes for the bungee fastener, so you can adjust the tension. The red one just has holes for the downtube clips. Do they have a moulding date stamped on the underside?
