Slick tyres would make it a bit easier to pull. As the trailer wheels aren't driving or braking, the tyres can be smooth

Doncaster is quite flat so good for those long, flat rides and there's plenty of off road opportunities too on old farm tracks. Big wide skies which is welcome on those dull winter days. Doncaster town centre is half decent with good transport links - it's near motorways and on the east coast...

Is it 1" or 1 1/8 headset? If 1", I'd say late 90s, if 1 1/8 then early 2000s. By mid 2000s there were different frame transfer designs
