    Diamond Back Prototype?

Good spot! Hmm, that's interesting. All The T## numbers I know of are steel frames with the stamp on the BB shell and a two digit year code, so either it's a different factory or completely different format for aluminium frames. Any insight @sam_white ?

    Diamond Back Prototype?

I was tempted to bid on this and start a discussion later if I won, as I love an oddity. However, I have no space for more bikes at the moment. To try to avoid ending up with it, I'll out it for discussion here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116712584954 Thoughts?

1988/89 part lugged, part fillet-brazed Raleigh frame

It looks very original, including the saddle. I don't know whether the paint scheme was an alternative to the main red/white or a mid-year model, stepping towards the fluorescent colours of the 90s.

Any more details on that fork? That might be something I could sneak into my luggage next time I am in Indonesia.

Weren't hybrids pretty well established by 1991?

Awesome! That's the model I presume mine was before the modification. It would be interesting to compare serials and whether yours has Gipiemme dropout forks - from the photo it looks like yours might have eyelets unlike mine. Please post details once you have it!

    Can anyone identify my bike?

Dark Zolatone + Afterburner stays = 1991 model I think. Eldridge was neon red and Pine Mountain neon orange, so is it possible yours is a neon red that has lightened over time?

The chosen spec for the different models seems very scattershot.

I bid on this too, but only planned to build it as a winter bike so I'm glad it will get proper attention.
