Having resorted to cutting most the spokes to dismantle the wheel, I had found some spokes the same length ..... but only 29. I saved some of the originals, so no problem .......

I didn't remember that but found the serial was already on my list from when it was previously outed.
That's really interesting, as the RTS serial in the other format I have is 00293 which suggests they made the very first ones with Zaskar format serials and switched quite quickly.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I think the other one I have recorded is a US-built RTS, so would make sense for all those to follow the same format - even if different from the Zaskars.
I've added that one to my list - hope that's alright but tell me if you would prefer me to remove it.
Thje dropouts are beautiful.
But one day someone will tag me in something like a beautiful Aende in my size and I will have bought it before I know what's happening 🤣
