Is your frame British or Italian threaded? I have a couple of spare Campag BBs but can't remember what thread they are.
Are the cranks well used? The tapers could be shot if they've been used with the wrong BB in the past.
Just to add, it would be useful to see a picture showing each crank fitted to the 102mm spindle so we can see how far on they go. Also, what's the frame and how long are the chain stays?
102mm is the correct length for that chainset, I have the Chorus version which is identical apart from the chainring bolts are steel on mine not aluminium. I use genuine Campag bottom brackets and have never had any problems with the chain rubbing on the inside of the big chainring except when...
It has the heavily scalloped seat stay caps typical of early 80s Raleighs but I think Randonneurs only ever came with either the oversized caps or flush ones embossed with Raleigh.
Clubmans came in that colour but weren't they sidepulls not cantis?
My guess would be a resprayed Royal.
Bump and price reduction to £70 plus delivery.
I also have a Superbe Pro bottom bracket spindle with the correct taper for these cranks to fit a 68mm shell - 109.5mm length according to my calipers. No cups or bearings to go with it though. £20 plus delivery.
Annoyingly, one of the fixing nuts for the fork clamps has gone missing sometime in the last 30 years but I eventually found a brass one that fits.
All the welds look sound but there is a bit of wear and tear as you would expect given it's age and usage BITD.
I could post this off to you for £20...
