I’ve actually got a Psyclone in team scream too. It needs the spec sorting out when I get around to it. They don’t come up often. Think mine is the only 1 in the UK

Yeh I’m a fan of the STS as well but they all crack it seems. I’ve had several over the years and the only one that wasn’t cracked was a lobo. GT nailed it in 97 for sure.

Don’t just hit it with metal polish as they look terrible if you do that. Dependant on the start point of the frame I go as low as 80 grade wet and dry. Use lots of water and work around the tubes. Work up through the grades and then a polish with mothers mag The rear end on the LTS I...

It seems to be random which are lacquered and not over the decals. Even Hots are the same it seems.

Interesting that the Rasta scheme had the decals on top of the lacquer. I’ve just also realised that I bought the Yellow stem of Ernie when you got that frame.

Do they not make a dart version? I’ve got a few cheaper builds that I need tyres for but don’t want to double smoke

For those who have original paint 96/97 Hots. Are your decals under the lacquer? Even on the solid colour frames?

So they aren’t folding then? They look better than the ones Nathan @Bike Creatively got last year for sure. But not as nice to me as classics.

Appreciate it’s not a directly linked to this thread but it’s likely the best place to ask. I’ve just noticed that my 97 Ku (orange one) has the decals straight onto the paint with no lacquer. I’m confident the decals and paint are original. So were these not lacquered? Or was it colour...

Just measured and I defo need 200mm at a minimum Is that threaded? I don’t think I’m at the stage of having the steerer extended yet

Yes mate I’m aware they are hard to find However my Hot has been in my possession for 6 months now and I’ve still not decided a colour so I don’t think it’ll be any time soon I’m not even sure I want to go with a P2 but without one to mock up I don’t know how I feel about it.
