I blame M900 XTR. It introduced 8spd, which was never officially supported by thumbshifters. After that, is was only a matter of time. You want 8spd, you need rapid fire.

Seems to be a lot of optimism in some sellers pricing on eBay at the moment, that Kila is lovely, but I wouldn’t pay that much for it. Would be worth looking at actual sale prices rather than what people are asking. Some bikes keep going round and round again. If it hasn’t sold at “that” price...

Can’t have been that much of an overstock, as my ‘91 Fire Mountain came with STI. 🙂

So basically, please keep sending us money, we’ll send you bikes that haven’t been a great commercial success (for whatever reason), except now we’ll provide no warranty back-up/support etc.

With the malaise that seems to be consuming Boeing at the moment, that’s not the “recommendation” it once might have been. It’s always easier to maintain tight tolerance specifications when your making a (relatively small) number of things (thousands) rather than properly mass production...

The windscreen is bonded into the car body. When you drive the body flex’s - not much, but enough that it will extend a crack if the original “chip” reaches the edge of the screen. Had one on one of my cars, started as less than a inch, but a couple of drives and it was happily spreading its...

Have higher spec ones on my good (road) bike, and those ones on my turbo/zwift bike. Have been boringly reliable, they just seem to work. Cant compare them to other systems as I’ve not used them.

Technically yesterdays ride, and not actually pictures of the ride itself, but the difference smug guards can make. :) Though deep(*) puddles did help clean the T130 a bit. Deep = comfortably above hub level.

Think there asking for someone to pick up a bike, box it, and post it on to them, for which they will cover the costs, and a bit extra for time taken.
