Help with Philbrook identifying mark?

OK here ya go. It's no lightweight! I converted it into a proto-mountainbike ("klunker") with derailleurs in '79, but then put it back, not 100% original but close. I kept a non-original front drum brake because it's hilly here, with lots of car traffic.

Also because of the hills, the chainwheel is smaller than stock and the rear sprocket is larger. The original was a "sweetheart", heart-shaped cutouts:

I originally bought it for $10, they guy wanted $15 but I talked him down.
Very cool! It's amazing how much variety there was in bikes in the 1930's! Love that original chain ring too!

Yep sorry for that.

I know Jeff Lyon, who apprenticed at Phillbrook and built frames there for a few years. I could try asking him what he knows about the maker's mark, but he's extremely not online, seems to check email once a month if at all. And I don't have a phone number for him.

Here's a picture of Jeff captaining a tandem made by Bill, and filed by Jeff. Robert Philbrook is the Rear Admiral. They did a 25 in 52:59

"Plijron", the name on the downtube, is a name Bill and Jeff came up with for the frames brazed by Bill, filed and painted by Jeff. It's supposedly some combination of both their names. They made about 20 of them.

Look at the rest of Jeff's Flickr, there are some pics of a Phillbrook, with the awesome Phillbrook dropouts, but unfortunately no picture of a punch mark.
