Thick as Thieves

Fentanyl use is nearing epidemic in Central London, since Afghanistan packed up most of its poppy production (thanks to the Taliban), heroin has been hard to come by, so Fentanyl coming in via China/Turkey/Amsterdam is the fuel of choice. It's replaced heroin about 90/10 in terms of police work. I used to work in Border Force Services, it's just about impossible to stop it coming into the UK, everyone is at it because it's so lucrative.

You might not have to wait that long. Coming to a town near you soon.
I'll let you know if I escape.

This will chop through 99.9% of bike locks in under 20 seconds. If it's big standard cable lock, under 5. What chance you got?

Where i used to live in South London there was basically one route out to the Kent countryside so muggers would wait in a lay-by there until a mamil on a top end bike came past (of which there were many) and then pull out and stop them

Best job in the world for a small time theif. If you're wondering how they sell on fairly rare top end bikes and ebikes. They wait till they've got a good hoard and then stick them in a 3 tonner and either head up to Manchester or Leeds and sell them at markets there. If they're a smarter variant they'll strip em for parts and the frame and punt it on Facebook Marketplace.
