Your chance to own an Icon. Now accepting offers over 20K USD for Breezer Series 1 #5 of 10 built. This bike is still owned by the original owner here in Marin. Of 10 built, 3 are in museums-one in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, one in the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame Museum, and one in the Shimano Museum in Japan. The rest are privately owned. For the purposes of playing by the rules of RB, and not having anyone get snarky, the price is $20,500 USD OBO, and Pat is welcome to sell it to whomever he likes, via PM.

If multiple people offer that amount and have a complaint as to why it wasn't sold to them, then we'll cross that bridge when we come to it :wink: 8)

Beautiful, historical, functional art. If I had it, I'd buy it. Good luck with the sale :)
 
Can't see people having trouble with that - I'm pretty sure everyone realises this isn't the same as clearing out a couple of old mechs from the back of the spares box! :lol: :wink:
