Is retro cyclocross bikes a thing?

My 2 cents (pence for you Brits). There should be a "retro-cyclocross" or at least a subsection within retro road bikes. I'm currently riding a 20 year old CX bike made by Gunnar. Steel frame, fork, and rim brake perfection. Compared to modern road and cyclocross bikes, it's definitely retro. Additionally many of the now vintage mountain bikes we so love, those manufacturers also made a few CX bikes. 🍻

Cyclocross is already mentioned, but to be honest I don't think the numbers are there to have a specific subsection. IMHO.

One thread in an attempt to keep all CX related goodies together is already good and makes it easier for someone to just scan through the pages; a gentle bump from time to time usually works.

Of course anyone can make their own thread of their own CX build.

Using the "Tag" function to add "CX" "cyclocross" or even "It's NOT a Gravel Bike FFS" will also help. :D

Perhaps @ultrazenith the thread owner could do this?

After I made the post, I was thinking it would be a rather small amount of contributions. Quality retro CX bikes are even rarer than the mtb's we're after. Here is a snip from the old Gunnar website, say's it all.

Amen!
