bargain retro looking suspension forks

I have bought a few of these, I got one to see what they were like.. and for the bargain for 20 quid posted I bought a few more.

not sure how many the place have but seems they have listed more..
they are coil spring in one leg and oil damper in the other. the damping is adjustable and fairly simple open oil bath works as it should.
no idea how long it will last but they are cheap as...

mine came via hermes so will be fairly slow. . lol

Re:

They look quite nice for the price!

If you get the time could you tell me if the steerer is removable?
Stanchion diameter and distance between stanchions (centre-centre) please!

steerer is a removable yes.. (alloy too)
stations look to be 35mm (need to find my vernier caliper to be 100%)
centre to centre looks to be 140mm.

35mm stations is quite big.
I have not stripped them down fully yet to check out the insides, quite easy to do though.

im interested to know it they use a floating lower bush (ie on the the bottom of the station rather than in the lower leg)
I would like to see if I can raise them up an inch. add 1"/1.5" to the end of the compression + damper shafts, because with the brace fully up they clear a 29er tyre.
they have the right style for my 29er Saracen x-tort project.
I like mixing a bit of old and new...

If they're anything like DNM comet steerers then they are effectively Marzocchi steerers. I have 2 comets and the steerers swap with my Marzocchi Bombers.

I also have a pair of LSF 80 dual air dnm forks.
the damper looks to be the same system. these ones look better than the dual air system with a nice simple coil spring.

axle to crown is 465mm.
they are 90mm stroke.

Bought a pair as well, thinking of putting them on my Trek Y5. Don't really have anything else a 90mm fork would be suitable for but hey they look good and are that wonderful price of dead cheap 8)
