XT STM096 help needed.

I've been trying to get these lovely XT levers to work, but the right /rear derailleur lever has lost its tension and ability to pull the cable enough so it won't drop onto the smaller sprockets . Anyone able to help? I'll probably sell them anyway!

Are you sure the mechanism hasn’t gummed up? Fix no. 1 is usually remove the covers and apply WD40 / GT85 whilst shifting through the gears. This will soften the grease.
