Help needed with xt fc-m771 front derailleur

I've got this front mech that I used for a while as a top pull
Now have a bike that I want to use with a bottom pull

It says it's dual pull after looking. Does anyone have a pic bottom and top?
Just to help figure it out, thanks

It should have a cam type thing on the linkage, cable comes up from the bottom around the cam and tightens up in the same place as if you're using it top pull.
This is an XTR but similar to this.

Sorry about asking more stuff. Will this work ok on 8 speed?
It was fine on a 9 speed but I think it's meant for 10 speed
could rub due to thicker chain?

Just as a matter of interest I measured each chain with my vernier
Measured from rivet to rivet on each chain

8 speed 7.36mm
9 speed 6.3mm
10 speed 5.9mm
