Nice, i googled that. Never competed in any race myself..It's by Alpkit...and just finished the Fat Viking 100K
How was the temperature? And how much elevation you have done? How long did it take?

Took me 11 hrs 53 to do. Temperature was OK about minus 3 to minus 5 but the last 50k was into a 40mph headwind gusting to 60mph so felt like -15. I did 1780m of climbing over the total course. It was my first ever endurance event and will be back to do the 150km next year. Did the training course before which I would say is an essential as riding over there is like nothing I have ever experienced.Nice, i googled that. Never competed in any race myself..

How did you prepare? Training, and gear i mean.. here we have something like a winter now, and i ride everyday a lot, but it's not the same thing...Took me 11 hrs 53 to do. I trained upping my distance on the Fat Bike with heavier loads on the bike. Gear wise the Fat Viking site has useful info on the mandatory gear page. After doing the training course and the 100k I now know what works and doesn't work for me as it's very individual. To do the 150 next year will require me to really up my distances and climb, climb , climb even when my legs don't feel like it. Apart from the wind it was a very fast icy event this year. How did you prepare?
