Wicked FAT Chance frame + fork…

It’s a fair price, assuming no surprises. Tempted, but on balance I didn’t fancy going down the rabbit hole to try and source an appropriate bb.

Look forward to seeing a few build pictures in due course.

I got it, a few lushed up the price on that one ☝️, now about this bottom bracket?
good buy 👍🏻 not sure if you’ve seen but by the looks of things it was on here just over 10 years ago.

That’s an interesting read, thanks for sharing. Some of these frames do the rounds, I still wonder how it landed up with this eBay seller.

Hopefully arrives with no issues, will create a new thread for it

Echoing the above, I have a '90 Wicked and they are wonderful things to ride around on all day :)

This one is a Medium unless I'm mistaken?

Having the original fork is a bonus and it has the correct seat clamp as well. Bearings are indeed easy to source, I'm just pondering how easy the BB axles are to come by though. Perhaps a threadless cartridge BB would indeed work?

You got a helluva deal there, as FATs always get painful when imported. The lockrings can be found below but there are other sources sometimes. You want an ISO 5/8 inch BB axle 122/3mm long for a period M730/2 Chainset or 127mm like the overpriced one in Romania below for a Cook Bros RSR chainset. Looking forward to the build thread you are in for a treat 😎

That's a White Industries (or Specialized) that's why it probably marked up.
But it's a bit damaged, the bearing look scratched and it's the Steel axle not a Ti axle version.

They are nice though, if its not just the axle you're after.
