Why animals?

Years ago in my teens my school friends Dad used to own a St Bernard which was chained up in a yard
and never taken out on walks, His Dad used to clean the shite every month!! As you can imagine the muck
on the floor was dreadful and the poor dog could not help but walk in it, the paws on the dog looked like
elephants feet because of the build up of crap...Shame on him.

Hmmm! If you are talking about my thread, thats not the case, His Dad owned a shop and everything
was nice and clean around the shop and he had two kids and both got what ever they wanted,
even if it was near ones birthday, the Dad would buy them something and spoil them rotten.

I can just see the poor St Bernard now :cry: One day me and his Son took the dog for a
walk and christ what a job that was and the dog was yelping all the time, it was then we
noticed that the steel chain which was used to tie it up had actually rubbed away its fur
and it had a massive raw red section around its throat.
