I have been riding tubeless now for about 3 years, with no flats! One thing about tubeless is that UST tires have thicker sidewalls than non tubeless, and this helps keep the tire from rolling around on the rim without a tube inside, resulting in better and more predictable handling than with the thinner carcass on a non UST tire. As for the spray of sealant out the valve-that will continue happening for quite a while, until the sealant drys out some. Remember, the sealant only lasts about 6 months and then it's time for more.
