Trek 9800 OCLV

That would weigh next to nothing.

From your seat height it looks too big for you... better sell it to me!

hi all
i knew this would stir the waters a bit. figured most would dislike it. does get peoples attention though. as for size, it is a bit on the big side for me. but road bikes have lower seats relative to handlebars. it rides just fine. is very quick compared to standard mountain bike. but because i still have mountain bike gears i can't keep up to buddies on real road bikes. it weighs in somewhere around 18 or 19 pounds. the avid ultimate brakes and levers are the best v brakes i've ever tried. almost put me over the bars first time i really laid on them. was a bit scarey. i'm surprised no one has commented on the 29/26 front rear wheel combo. but i kept both rolf wheels. my own version of trek's 69'er. just a fun build.

That's flipping MENTAL!!

I LOVE it! Looks fantastic - you've gone your own way on it and well done.

I do like the idea of the bigger frame for road use, very clever......

Roy, that is straight up bad-a$$. Get down wit yo bad self! :D

In all seriousness, I really love what you did with this. Blinging it up is always fun - there's always room in the cave for a build like this!

nice job roy......i love those oclv frames, they really flow visually.....

Sig worthy

Living in NYC, I see many a MTB built up in this fashion. Looks like fun; I'd throw a leg over it.
