That’s my 1997 Trek 9800 OCLV restored and upgraded last year:

I upgraded my 1997 OCLV carbon frame with a full Shimano 2006 M970 group and I found it was a great match. The bike is under 10Kg and rides smooth and fast. And looks good too.

I will give you some love here - as I own a similar frame and am finishing it up now! Just landed an AMP F2 fork for it, and shifters arriving in a few days. Won't be a full period correct build (close-ish) but I intend to ride it hard!

There aren't any spring chickens on here! The Moron that built the Weenie OCLV weighed about the same as you and I'm reliably informed that he thought the bikes capabilities massively outweighed his talent, fitness and confidence in 30 year old Aluminium & carbon...
