Team Raleigh Record 531

Ashley L

Retro Newbie
Team Raleigh with 531 tubing. Exported to France--and now returned to UK. Not sure what to make of it or what to do with it. No frame number to help with dating. Is it worth restoring or respraying (and rechroming)? Suggestions welcome

Yellow head tube Raleigh's are incredibly rare finds, yours is 74-5 . Keep it in its original paint and decals as it's in great condition and it's only original once. Also it has the early version of decals with no black outline which are impossible to replace, a wonderful find 👍

Still can't see the number on the seat tube, ah well. These were not top class frames so the odd hiccup around the lugs not unusual. Probably built by the same team as the Carlton Equipe
