If it was me and I had the time / money I think I'd go this way:

"Or do I have my Pearl white one painted satin black and then do a unique build/colour on the olive green frame?"

There's something about having that original frame the way it was, and going crazy with the 'new to you' one.

I’ve made a decision mate.

I’ll create a build thread when it starts to progress a little. I feel it could be a slow build as DJ parts from the 90s seem to be hard to come by in nice condition.

I’m still stuck thinking about having my pearl white frame (my bike from new) painted back to its original colour

I’ve got the spare frame which I’m planning to build up after my metalhead but it just feels that it’ll never be “my” bike.

Here’s a mock up of what it would look like painted back to black.

If I did have mine satin black …. I’d likely have the satin black one done olive green or another colour or even build it satin black but as a totally different build.
