Spofforth castle circular. 28/06/2014 POSTPONED#

The Spofforth Castle Circular.





START :: Station road carpark, Collingham.

TIME :: 10:00am for 10:30 start.

DISTANCE :: >15 Miles.

TERRAIN :: Woodland bridalways, dirt tracks, quiet country lanes.

DIFFICULTY :: 2/5.


Startpoint can be st-nav'd with LS22 5BS. This will get you onto linton road, keep going 200yrds and the carpark is on your right before the bridge. Parking is free.



Lunch is planned at the castle inn, spofforth. Also a visit to the castle is on the cards. A fantastic opportunity to see a superb visitor attraction, free of charge.

This is quite an easy going ride, the odd patch of nettles is probably the biggest hazard Take advantage now. The route consists of the route from 2012 with some alterations, better flowing and a good mix of trail type.

No helmet, No ride.

Definitely won't be able to make this one as I'll be up in Ardnamurchan.

Have a good ride and hope to see lots of people at the 'Weekender' in August.

No worries chaps. If we don't gain 4+ riders by thurs i will put it on a back-burner til whenever. It's quite ride-able most of the year.

Ok, i've knocked this ride on the head until more interest bubbles up.

# postponed, can be put on almost anytime except wet winters.
