For Sale SOLD Nigel Dean 531 lugged MTB tricolor

Hi all,

Reluctantly offering this up for sale.

Lovely original paint with plenty of patina.

Tons of clearance for large volume tyres (26”). I had this set up as a rugged randonneur type bike with guards and 1.75 Paselas but would be great with off road tyres.

Comes with the original Suntour XCD 4050 front mech and non original Zoom seatpost - 27.2.

1 inch headtube.

20 1/2 inch seattube ctt, 22 1/2 inch ctc level top tube. 130mm internal spacing at rear, 100mm up front. Headset provided but will need servicing/replacing.

£100 collected from Bristol. I am happy to post, but not having posted a frame recently I will need to investigate costs for doing so.

Edit - Sadly too big for me, didn't notice the size at first, interest withdrawn but it's an absolute cracker - GLWS

Would make a brilliant off-road tourer. A pity it's too big for me. I never understand why these superb frames don't go for more.

Good thing that though in't it. A welcome escape from the eBay chancers who'd sell their granny's nickers for 500 quid because they're vintage

Lovely frameset Attempted, glws

Agreed, thoroughly enjoying my Dawes Edge 653, a similarly ignored marque, although off-the-peg and not a patch on a Nigel Dean.

Think I saw that in a botm, drop bar monster cross type thing right? Looked fantastic.
