I thought this was going to be a thread on tactical Ebay bidding :?

Me too.

It's lucky you don't own a Trimble 'LGF' sniping happens a lot
But i consol my self in the knowing that i own the best riding mtb and have 4

Your just greedy though you cant ride all four at once after all

i think LGF has some cracking finds and wish i had the time to check out my local dump but work, wife and four kids dont allow for it

Sniper, no sniping.

of course it's actually Swiper but sounds a lot like Sniper, just ask my young uns

I'm an LGF fan, his builds are leftfield and often made from stuff that would otherwise of been crushed. Many of the sites so called top builders wouldn't dare tackle some of the builds LGF puts together with mix and match parts and componentry.

Maybe a suggestion for a BoTM low end special, thus letting the sites real builders flex their muscles.

Quite how you define 'low-end' for a BOTM might be tricky, but something similar was run back in April 2007 as an unofficial BOTM (although the winner was still honoured with a place on the home page):

It also went to show that really great bikes were out there and weren't prohibitively expensive:
