Actually, Boulders and Windrivers (88, 89 and laters) has exactly the same frames with different painting Ofc bikes were differently equipped also

To of the best of my knowledge and memory, following the painting scheme and decal locations I'd say that Pampalini's Scott is '88 Racing

Almost done... Waiting for this lovely (and expensive) new Ritchey seatpost to arrive... so almost full XT (had an issue with existing XT shifter brake combo so needed to do with LX for the time), ritchey stem & seatpost, Flite saddle, araya rims, usual suspect tires. the handlebar is an age appropriate zoom riser until i find something that makes more sense... fun fact - i have 4 vintage scott mtb's in total - 3 of them are from '95., one is from '93. (this one) - all of them have different diamater seatposts ranging from 26.2 to 27.0

I thought I’d share some photos of my 1990 Scott Pro Racing. I had a pro racing back in the day (last photo) and it was stolen so I was desperate to find another one. I found one for sale in Austria and I travelled from the uk to get it. Well worth it

Pics don't do it justice, the color really pops in the sun. In any case - done for now, couple of things maybe in the future (XT shifters & brakes, XT pedals and a different handlebar). Really happy with how it turned out. Off to the next project
