Mine is 26.4 but that's a seatstay u brake but think most of that era are 26.4.

Great effort mate, well worth the time!

Just spent the best part of 5 hours cleaning the frame up with white spirit, small brushes, tissue and a new scalpel. I cleaned all the dirt and sticker glue off around the decals that are left and then with a fresh scalpel and a steady hand carefully and considerably removed the lifted edges of the decals that were never going to stick back down again and some bits that had trapped dirt. Once trimmed and glue removed I then went over the frame in all the nooks and crannies with spirt and small brushes getting oil/dirt/surface rust off. It's improving and next step with be colour restorer (T-cut) then onto polish.
