Saracen Trekker 88 double U brake

The Saracen paint has shown no signs of reaction which is great as I have no intention of re-painting it.
The stumpy on the other hand did loose a small area of paint at the top of the seat tube, no loss though as it needs a re-paint. I'm planning to Ebay the Stumpy frame and forks as I have no plans to keep it and now the post is out it's ready for someone to start a new project!

Double U, you just have to don't you!, as impractical in mud as they are.

Try ammonia before caustic Ash...you can get it from wilkos for a couple of quid. Stinks but does the trick and is less destructive than caustic.

and........ you should really hide that Attitude from those Klein owners of a nervous disposition ....if i am not mistaken it has got actual mud on it!!!

Especially so if there's caustic soda flowing nearby...

Enjoy the Trekker, my 1st ever mtb, and quite a wonderful machine.
Incidently...the interior stem cable routing had a habit of wearing thru at impromptu moments :?

It's reducing, bit more tape protection needed!
