Round mother's for tea

Tea is what you eat in the afternoon (usually called dinner, generally in more southern areas ). This is not the same as afternoon tea, which is posh cakes and scones and a cup of tea.
When making (a cup of) tea, it's tea bags (one per person) in the already warmed teapot, then add boiling water and let it brew. Milk goes in the cup first, then pour the tea in. Never tea bags in the milk, or milk after the tea in the cup.... 🤦‍♂️
Tea will of course be drunk at any time of the day, not just with your afternoon tea (or proper tea). Unless like me you prefer coffee....

For me,

Breakfast
2nd breakfast
3rd breakfast
Brunch
Dinner
4th breakfast

And it’s always, water after teabag first, not milk…
I usually only eat one meal a day. It generally lasts from when I get up until I go to bed.....
