Road signs wtf

Cyclists dismount? Do fools think I'm having sex with it! Ffs
Ever seen one telling drivers ?..get out and push!
Pedestrians look the fcuk where you are walking
It's to do with the blame and liability culture. I've seen some of these signs on the likes of the High Peak Trail where there is a "tricky" bit. Not tricky for us, but possibly for a first timer who has just hired a bike.
No sign could render the trail management liable in the event of an accident.

I tend not to dismount, but always feel awkward as though I'm some sort of awkward citizen

I@ can think of 2 locations near here where the sign actually makes sense.
1. crossing the locks on the ship canal.
2. crossing the train tracks

actual 3. there is one on a really iffy bend that drops under a bridge on the trans penine trail. it's there because someone with less than good bike control and a lack of intelligence hit someone taking the corner to sharp at speed. really a sign saying "go ******* slow you numpty" would suffice, but we get what we get.

the next corner along is called cowards corner and it has a blue plaque. :)

Yesterday in Llandudno. It is nearly as flat as it looks (at least compared to some of the hills around here). Proof that Elf & Safety culture has been around for a long time.

that has nothing to do with the hill and everything to do with the local population. :) (that road was cobbled when the sign was put up).
