Tom Karen, the designer of the (in)famous Raleigh Chopper passed away on new years eve. Responsible for so many iconic designs that have graced streets and the cinema screen, globally.

The Chopper and the Bond Bug, the Reliant Scimitar GTE and i think i am right in saying he designed Luke's hovering speeder, seen in the original Star Wars film.
