Hmm.
Being a full fan for 26th and the "classic" design. I have 98"Klein Attitude so I had to her put on diet, nothing about the stock being heavy(11.5kg i think) but Boys are Boys ...sudenly.9.24kg) now my Stumjumper wil be on a diet to, an the stock being at 12.4kg.
But i have been following the weight on the of many new designs on hatdtails, and there almost look designers have caved in on the hardtail? My Merida is from 2012, been raced in worls an ol by Gunn Rita Dale, yes its been use in both wc / ol offcurse the mechs has tricked up.8,7kj
But has there been so smal changes in frame design over almost 20 years...?
gonna get angry msg for this post..

Most of the weight increases will be in the forks, wheels (bigger) and probably tyres but the performance increases make it worth it.

My current full suss must be 8-10lbs heavier than the one I had 12 years ago but it climbs as well and is better everywhere else.
