Repairing a buckled wheel

I've left it at a shop, but I plan to do just that if the shop guy doesn't manage- I can justify spending more time on it than he can. I actually built my first front wheel a few weeks ago, although that was starting with a straight rim.

As predicted, the shop couldn't do anything with it. I've now removed all the spokes, which came out really nicely, and will have a go at sorting the rim out at some point.

Get a copy of the wheel pro book. It's about 9 quid (for a download) if you can't build a wheel after reading that, there is no hope.

(Unless the rim is really bent beyond repair)
