You are right the original seat was no beaut. Dito for the original spec plastic disc in the rear wheel btw. Maybe a Rolls, Turbo or Regal for your bike one day?

I pulled the Vento Propizio saddle off my daughter's bike and installed on my '86 Nashbar Terra XT (Japanese Ishiwata Stumpjumper knock off) cafe/bar bike. The leather surface was crazed but some Proofide did the trick and now the saddle seems right at home... it's no Brooks but it'll do for coffee and suds!

+1 Agreed! The hideous plastic dork disc was awful, it was actually the first thing to go!

I also have one I found in a garage sale. Done up as a commuter bike with back rack guards high rise bars... the guy had the original bits laying around.
