All fantastic - so difficult, but it has to be that Carlton Kermesse - it's simply beautiful.

Re:

1935 LH Brookes is my favourite but LGF's 1947 Norman Fay is a close second though the modern tyres spoil it a wee bit ;)

Re:

 Looks like the hay day for British road bikes shares a similar time line to our motoring industry

Must admit to not venturing into these parts very often, given the numbers who entered I'm surprised the average bike heralds from around the 1970 era.

as you were, I'll head back to the MTB section now

I think this has more to do with the average age of the members than the bikes themselves, all of the 70's bikes I can remember lusting after in my own youth ;)

^ Fair point,

my personal interest starts around 89/90 and stops around 97/98,

THM, since you're rubbing shoulders with the Silver Fox brigade that makes you the new kid on the block ! ...love the picture BTW
I did the same thing on the A46 to Evesham with my Yeti under the sign post for Grafton, but yours is way better!

You're welcome to stay. We talk and show proper bikes here. The other sections are for toy bikes.
