After being convicted for bike theft Peters was sentenced to 2 years in Borstal, upon release his parents disowned him and he was placed in a children's home before being taken into foster care Peters changed his ways and took his foster parents name and changed his first name to become Christopher Lee

1988 Raleigh Routier.
This years refurb using original parts and to original spec.(see build below). Did think of selling it on, but its become a member of the family, done a number of touring rides in the autumn. Its a great ride and a great little touring bike.

Managed to finish this early this year and took it on a 10m TT test run local to me , my first time on tubs and on a 70’s steel TT frame ! Smiles all round

Might just offer this up for consideration...

My 1989 Raleigh 653... the second hand bike I had as a student, then sold it in about 1993, then missed it on and off ever since and then found another frame this summer so I’m back where I started with a big grin!

What a cracking way to see out the year!
Each and every one would be a worthy winner, but like the Highlander, there can be only one. (unless it's a draw of course )

There is still time to get those last minute entries in, though I doubt anybody's bike may actually be better than any of these fine machines

Can I entry my Colnago Master Pista 1988/1989

I did own it back in the days and raced few years with it. Sold it away... but now got change to get it back.
