Sooo.. after two years of looking I recently found my first Ti frame (89 Merlin) then out of nowhere I found two more ti frames within one week of eachother!
second one is a 93 Kona Ti, this third one is a 1996 Nukeproof Ti frame..
The original owner had it built up by a local mechanic and then decided to move onto another frame instead... so I was able pick it up as a complete build... I will probably keep the M950 group on it as it goes well with the Ti frame but lots of the other bits will be used on my other bikes or put up for trades (The revolution crank is not for sale )
One question I have is the geometry... seat tube and top tube are proper for a 19.5" frame BUT the head tube is VERY short... so I assume it's meant for a fork with a decent amount of travel for it's day... my only questions is why there would be a cantilever hanger on it? i.e. I thought that would be long gone by the time frames were built with that much of a suspension correction to the frame??
I'll be adding more pics, these are just some teasers (please comment on the odd sizing... thanks!)
