My Cannondale has just cracked'n'failed.. :(

I need a replacement frame as a stop gap while I decide what to buy.

Looking for something decent like a 531 frame, not interested in gas pipe. May consider alloy but obviously have some reservations! Paint not important as may respray but must be structurally sound.

Ideally with mudguard clearance and braze-on's for winter, but not essential.

Budget around £100, needs posting to Bristol or can collect locally.

cheers

Re: 55-56cm Frame

Have a Chas Bland going spare, very nicely built 531c, sizes as...

HT 165mm,
ST C/C 565mm,
TT C/C 560mm,
Standover 830mm,
Bottom bkt 280mm.

I'm 5'10 to 5'11 and it fits me, built as a 'crit' frame so the bb is a little higher...so you can corner even quicker. Rides as a good as a steel frame should.

Based in Gloucester.

Carl.

Re:

Rolling chassis.

Just remembered from the pictures...broke the DS dropout some how, Chas repaired for it for me and I rode it for another 6 months without a problem.

HS and post included.
