My 94 Orange Clockwork build

sorry to be asking boring questions but what diamieter seat post do i need for this 94 clockwork and do i need to shim it? I'm putting it back together next week and just missing a post ;-(
 
I chucked all my parts on tonight...
I'm just waiting on some lx shifters and grips off ebay.I hope to be rolling by weekend :roll:
Yes I know theres no hope or azonic in this build,but its cost me less than £150 so far and thats far less than halfords well charge u for worse :LOL:

Better it's built up and riden with cheapo components than left in the back of a shed in my opinion.

I had a little test ride last weekend,but tomorrows the real test when i hit some trails:) It felt very harsh(boneshaking) any ideas how I can soften it up a bit?
