DM Senior Retro Guru Feedback View Feb 24, 2009 #13 Yes, an odd time to end an auction. Re. Japanese buyer: Aaah. Japanese buyers already splash lots of cash on vintage road bikes, Campagnolo stuff, Moulton folders, pimped-out Bromptons, classic British sports cars, 60s Mini & Triumph stuff, vintage & Cal-look VWs, collectable sneakers, vintage guitars... if they start getting into retro MTBs too, I think they'll even be outbidding the Germans. Nice if you're a seller; Not so if you're looking to buy.
